Ankle-strap wedge sandal,

Y-shaped strap wedge and

Peep-toe slingback wedge.

What does these three shoes have in common? Obviously they are wedges! came from the many variety of style of high-heel footware. The name itself "Wedge" may have been derived from the heel's wedge form that continues all the way to the toe. It is characterized typically by elevated platforms and heels and it comes with numerous designs in straps.

For centuries, high-heel shoes, wedges in particular had been a must-have item and an exclusive girl thing.

What make the high-heel shoes special?

  • it makes the wearer appear taller
  • it makes the legs appear longer
  • it makes the foot appear smaller
  • it makes the foot appear smaller it changes the wearer's posture, requiring a more upright carriage and altering the gait in what is considered a seductive fashion
